Active Caring was founded by a dedicated group of healthcare and community professionals who share a vision: to provide truly quality care and meaningful support to people living with disabilities. With extensive experience working within the NDIS sector, our founders understand firsthand how the right support can transform lives and create real opportunities for growth, independence, and wellbeing.
At Active Caring, we are more than just NDIS service providers — we understand the journey. We walk alongside our participants, supporting them with compassion, respect, and a genuine commitment to helping them live more independently.
Our team believes in empowering every individual to achieve their personal goals, make their own choices, and build confidence in everyday life. Through consistent, reliable, and participant-focused support, we strive to make a positive difference in every life we touch.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) refers to accommodation for people who require specialist housing solutions, including to assist with the delivery of supports that cater for their extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.
According to the NDIS, it is a federal government-funded scheme which provides financial support to people with an intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive (such as defective short-term memory) or psychosocial (arising as a result of a mental health condition) disability.
A disability is any condition of the body or mind (impairment) that makes it more difficult for the person with the condition to do certain activities (activity limitation) and interact with the world around them (participation restrictions).
